Can you circulate this around the village especially as Christmas is fast approaching. It has been confirmed by The Royal Mail. The Trading Standards are making people aware of the following scam: A card is delivered to your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel & that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (premium rate number). Do not cal this number as this is a mail scam organising from Belize. If you do call the number you will start to hear a recorded message you will already of been billed £15 for the phone call. If you do recieve a card with these details, then please contact the Royal Mail Fraud Department on 0207 2396655 or ICSTIS (Premium rate regulator) at icstis.org.uk We cannot validate either of the numbers on this post. 0207 2396655 is said to be the Royal Mail Fraud Dept. but we can find no record of it on their website. Do not call either number, go directly to the local Post Office or Police Station.
