From the age of ten I have lived locally in the Newquay area, attending both Newquay Junior and Newquay Tretherras schools. One of my keen interests being Rugby I was lucky enough to represent Newquay Tretherras school, Newquay Hornets RFC and the County Schools Teams. I joined the Armed Forces upon leaving school and served fifteen years with the Army always managing to play rugby where-ever I was posted to, for such teams as Colchester, Winchester and many many more. One of my greatest sporting achievements was representing the Army Rugby Team playing against the Royal Air Force in 1998, whilst serving in Cyprus.

Leaving the forces in 2002, I then returned to Cornwall and now coach the Under 9's Minis rugby team at Newquay Hornets RFC, and have a position of lead coach within the Minis section of the club. I joined the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary as a Patrol Officer in the town of Wadebridge, working closely with my colleagues in Bodmin, dealing with day to day response Patrol duties.

Having been on Patrol for approximately four years, I then completed another three years in the Crime Investigation Department in Bodmin, investigating all types of crime committed within the Bodmin and Wadebridge area, ranging from Shoplifting to Grievous Bodily Harm. I am now looking forward to my move to Newquay Station and adopting the role of Neighbourhood Beat Manager of St Columb Minor, Crantock and Colan.
